In the midst of war's chaos, roadside signage and advertising take on a paradoxical role: Billboards are used as recruiting canvases, with bold slogans and captivating images enticing individuals to join the army with the same enthusiasm as buying a new car.  These advertisements promise glory and purpose as they lure young souls into the battlefield. It is only with the peeling paint of some that the remnants of the country’s pre-war past is revealed: advertisements that once adorned the streets, now forgotten and obsolete.

The beauty of blurry photos taken from a car was something that gradually grew on me over time. As I sped past, things would blend together, forming a tapestry of colors. They became moments of motion that caused a sense of adventure and energy.

Blurry photos possess an inherent allure, where sharp focus relinquishes its hold to embrace ambiguity. Soft edges and subtle distortions conspire to invite interpretation. Such images bear a dreamlike quality, instilling curiosity and a range of emotions in the viewer.
